Paul... he has already restored a 70s VW camper and has a stripped 1960s split-screen on the drive.

I didn't realise they were into that kind of camping (although a VW is really more of a weekend camper unless you're at university), but apparently he's very talented.

Phoned them up to ask about Xmas pressies for the children and it came up in the conversation :)

There does seem to be a genetic defect in our family that forces us to remove our central heating in the middle of a cold spell. Ice on the inside of the bedroom windows was that bridge too far...

Handy hint - put them back in !

Oh, I remember the days when we took out our central heating, just in time for winter. In Scotland.

I will send you fleeces and zip up tartan booties for Christmas...It's brass monkeys out there (none too warm in the camper either I have to say).

Well done folks. Looking good. Considering that you're girls and everything.

We had some work done in the secret nuclear bunker a few weeks ago. Took out half the radiators. I am ******* freezing my **** off in here right now. Getting through a lot of trees as a result. Perhaps not the best idea.

Anyway.
