You seriously need to introduce a vetting policy:

"I'm two years out of a psychologically abusive relationship and I'm doing just fine. I'm a Technopagan (a solitary witch who uses both traditional methods and modern technology to make magic) but interested in spirituality in general and also where magic meets science."

I haven't stopped laughing for half an hour and Mrs MTM is getting really annoyed with me. Bin this spawn of Satan's arse from your 'friends' before she rolls her seven sided luck dice, becomes a 12th level magic user and destroys us all with her 'laser'. I expect she'll fire that from an object that looks like a small moon, but in fact is not a small moon, it's a space station.
I didn't realise they were into that kind of camping (although a VW is really more of a weekend camper unless you're at university), but apparently he's very talented.
As for mignon - that has no hope of getting woken up for the New Year without the input of expert relative it seems. Probably best, if you wing away on your magic carpet and apply a fresh mind to the problem in 2008.

In response to:In the words of a great author: "An Embuggerment."

SpongeGirl... bane of weather gods.
Come up and work on the Bedford then... that'll keep you warm. If you work hard, I'll give you some sticks to take back and keep your fire going. Can bring you back some cow dung too - those wood-burners will run on anything.

There does seem to be a genetic defect in our family that forces us to remove our central heating in the middle of a cold spell. Ice on the inside of the bedroom windows was that bridge too far...

Handy hint - put them back in !

In response to:It's starting to look habitable

Oh, I remember the days when we took out our central heating, just in time for winter. I will send you fleeces and zip up tartan booties for Christmas...It's brass monkeys out there (none too warm in the camper either I have to say).
Looking good. Considering that you're girls and everything.

We had some work done in the secret nuclear bunker a few weeks ago. Took out half the radiators. I am ******* freezing my **** off in here right now. Getting through a lot of trees as a result. Perhaps not the best idea.

Anyway.

Good effort. Keep it up. I'll leave you something to think about before I go... P.R.I.D.E. 'Personal Responsibility for Individual Daily Effort.' And remember there's no 'I' in 'TEAM'. But there are four in 'platitude quoting idiot'.
